binarybaron1 and einliterflashche2 have submitted a CCS proposal3 looking to continue XMR-BTC atomic swaps4 development and help transform the ecosystem from a prototype into a mature marketplace:

We are confident that given a few months time to fully dedicate to the project, we can transform the ecosystem from more of a proof of concept into a mature marketplace. We are asking the community for funding in order to be able to focus our efforts on improving the atomic swaps ecosystem.

Total funding: 498 XMR.

ETA: 6 months.

Tasks overview

  • continue to maintain both the GUI and the underlying CLI
  • CLI: focus will be to improve overall reliability
  • GUI: make it more accessible to non technical users
  • GUI: release an Android (and possibly iOS) version
  • continue to manage GUI webpage and docs, public registry of swap providers [..]

binarybaron and einliterflashche developed unstoppableswap-gui5, which facilitated more than 3,000 mainnet swaps in 2023, and are the current6 maintainers of the xmr-btc-swap project.
