Anthropic1 has just merged2 plowsof’s PR3 to enroll the Monero project into the company’s OSS Scanner4 - an opt-in vulnerability finding service for open-source software - after ~2 weeks of silence:

sb- merged commit e796f17 into anthropics:main

[Enrol projects/monero] I am a contributor to this project and have the permission of core maintainers to open this PR who will ACK via a thumbs up / approval. [..] Monero qualifies for inclusion because it is an open-source, decentralized cryptocurrency project launched in April 2014 [..] I have read the CLA Document and I hereby sign the CLA

Monero core team members and key developers should automatically receive thorough, periodic security scans by Anthropic’s strongest models at no cost.

This is an ongoing story and the report will be updated when new information is available.
