alohamarkus1 from The Aloha Project2 has announced3 the launch of Haveno Aloha4, a new public Haveno instance running on Monero’s main network that apparently doesn’t charge any fees:
So I have been working on an ‘alternate’ network [..] it’s out now on mainnet but should require some testing, if anyone wants to help? [..] we have generous sponsors, that means haveno-aloha.com we now be completely fee free!
The project has attracted some community criticism mainly due to the lack of clean commits5.
It is worth mentioning that the most established6 network - Haveno Reto7 - has also announced8 plans to remove trading fees earlier today.
Note: the instance is new and requires testing - only trade with small amounts that you can afford to lose; keep in mind that no instance is endorsed by Haveno devs at this time.
This is an ongoing story and the report will be updated when new information is available.
